SILVER at Handwerkmesse in Munich

Jewellery Week in Munich, along with its central event, the Internationale Handwerkmesse Fair, is the highlight of the calendar for art jewellery enthusiasts. Each year, it draws artists, specialists, and jewellery collectors from Europe, Asia, and the United States to the Bavarian capital. From March 12-16, Munich hosted over 100 jewellery exhibitions in art galleries, museums, and artist studios, as well as the iconic Schmuck and Talente competitions, setting new directions and trends in this field of art.

This year, the Gallery of Art in Legnica, in collaboration with the Wolski & Fijałkowski curatorial duo, joined the 800 exhibitors at the Internationale Handwerkmesse for the first time. At booth B1.739, in the prestigious Frame section and alongside a dozen galleries of author's jewellery from countries including the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, and Africa, Legnica presented nearly 30 objects from the International Collection of Contemporary Jewellery. The jewellery collection, amassed by the Gallery of Art, currently numbers nearly 500 works by artists from around the world, participants of past editions of the Legnica SILVER Festival and the International Jewellery Competitions.
