• A Silver Year! A Summary
    A Silver Year! A Summary

At the heart of the Silver Festival, which we work on throughout the year, lies Legnica. However, our schedule begins with meetings at the most important industry events dedicated to contemporary jewellery across Europe. An emphasis on creating and co-shaping an international community centered around jewellery art is also the ongoing activity of the Gallery Director, Justyna Teodorczyk, who for years has represented Legnica in international competitions as a jury member. In 2025, she awarded four significant prizes in the form of solo exhibitions and promotion within the Legnica Silver Festival social media. As the year draws to a close and a new one begins, we invite you on a slightly retrospective journey – while also gently looking ahead.

Traditionally, the Festival programme will also include accompanying events such as the seminar “Boundaries of the Global Art” and student performances.

International Jewellery Competition will be the main event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER 2026. The competition has been organized by the Gallery of Art in Legnica since 1979 (initially as the National Review of the Goldsmiths Forms). It is one of the oldest initiatives to promote contemporary artistic jewellery in Europe, supporting creative explorations within a niche field at the intersection of art, craft and design.
