International Jewellery Competition will be the main event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER 2026. The competition has been organized by the Gallery of Art in Legnica since 1979 (initially as the National Review of the Goldsmiths Forms). It is one of the oldest initiatives to promote contemporary artistic jewellery in Europe, supporting creative explorations within a niche field at the intersection of art, craft and design.

International design and all-arts exhibition and event series

In this year's edition of the 21-year-old exhibition and all-arts event series, works by nearly 180 artists from 18 countries are presented in thematic units. 2025 focuses on Dutch and Polish design, but also highlights the history and impact of bentwood furniture, unique textile works created at the intersection of design and contemporary music, and an international contemporary design and jewellery selection also awaits; this year even features a separate section for university and alumni works.

The beginning of October is marked by the Romanian Jewelry Week, organized by the Assamblage Association as part of the calendar of contemporary jewellery events. The 6th edition of the ROJW was held between 1-5.10.2025. The director of the Gallery of Art in Legnica, Justyna Teodorczyk, joined the jury and along with the team of jewellery experts selected the winners of the current edition of the event.
Our Gallery has also been invited to present selected works qualified for the 33rd International Jewellery Competition WOW Effect! in Romania. The works awarded in our competition were on display in the center of the magnificent National Library of Bucharest building, visited by a few thousand viewers over several days of the event.

This year’s edition of Milano Jewelry Week took place on October 18-20, 2025. It is an event that celebrates the history, tradition, and innovation of the fascinating world of jewellery. Milano Jewelry Week creates a space for exchanging experiences and building relationships, attracting jewellery enthusiasts from all over the world.
The program included a wide range of exhibitions, presentations, workshops, meetings, and openings. MJW was held in the center of Milan, across exclusive locations in the city: historic buildings, ateliers, goldsmith workshops, academies, art galleries, fashion boutiques, and showrooms.
