The Legnica SILVER Festival includes also a series of accompanying events:

Popular science session "Boundaries of global art" - during the culmination of the Festival in May, we traditionally meet to listen to the artists presenting their works at the "silver" exhibitions, and to discuss together the condition of contemporary goldsmithing and design, also in relation to the competition's slogan, which in 2022 was "Touch."

Happenings and meetings

Curatorial tours - every year residents of Legnica and the surrounding area, as well as students of art colleges visit the "silver" expositions to learn about the history of contemporary jewellery during guided tours.

Jewelry-making workshops for children and adults - during the Festival, workshops are organized during which participants take on the role of artists and create jewelry themselves using, among other things, felt, beads, but also learn about basic goldsmithing tools and techniques.

In frame of the SILVER Festival we also produced a series of videos about the Legnica's jewellery exhibitions, which are available on our YouTube channel.
