QUALITY exhibition at ROJW in Bucharest

 

After the premiere show in Legnica, the 31st International Jewellery Competition began an tour of museums, galleries and events dedicated to contemporary jewellery. Bucharest (Romania) became the next venue for the presentation of the QUALITY exhibition. The works awarded and honored during the SILVER Festival were hosted there as part of the special edition of Romanian Jewelry Week, which takes place on October 4-8, 2023.

 

 

This is not the first collaboration between the Gallery of Art and the Assamblage National Jewelry Association. Legnica's exhibitions have been accompanying events in Bucharest since 2021, and the Gallery's director Justyna Teodorczyk will be among the jurors of the competitive exhibition organized as part of ROJW for the third time this year.

About the Festival

For more than forty years, the Gallery of Art in Legnica has been specializing in the promotion of contemporary jewellery and artistic objects made mainly of silver. The Jewellery Festival SILVER is one of the most important events shaping the cultural life of the region and building its image on the international forum. Every year we organize individual and group exhibitions of Polish and international artists, publish exhibition catalogues, organize conferences and symposia, as well as jewellery shows, workshops, debates and concerts. The most important event we organize is Legnica International Jewellery Competition which has a different theme every year.
