Competition "Still human" - list of the qualified artists


On 19-22 February, the Jury debate of the 29th International Jewellery Competition Still Human? took place. An international group of Jurors, consisting of: Caroline Broadhead (United Kingdom), Magdalena Kwiatkiewicz (Poland), Georg Dobler (Germany), Darijus Gerlikas (Lithuania) and Sławomir Fijałkowski (Poland) evaluated 357 works by 186 artists from 35 countries. Works by 44 artists were selected for the post-competition exhibition.

The post-competition exhibition will be on display at the Gallery of Art in Legnica between April 23 and June 20, 2021. The announcement of the Competition results and the award and distinction ceremony will take place on May 29 (Saturday), during the Culmination of the Legnica SILVER Festival. The event will also be available online on our communication channels.


Works not qualified for the main exhibition will be presented at the Holownia exhibition in the Old Town Hall in Legnica, from April 3 to May 30, 2021.

For more than forty years, the Gallery of Art in Legnica has been specializing in the promotion of contemporary jewellery and artistic objects made mainly of silver. The Jewellery Festival SILVER is one of the most important events shaping the cultural life of the region and building its image on the international forum. Every year we organize individual and group exhibitions of Polish and international artists, publish exhibition catalogues, organize conferences and symposia, as well as jewellery shows, workshops, debates and concerts. The most important event we organize is Legnica International Jewellery Competition which has a different theme every year.
