The exhibition presents a holographic installation showing works from the polymer collection. The installation is accompanied by an exhibition of works from the latest collection Fake.
Marcin Tymiński - born in 1972 in Warsaw. Studied jewellery design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Member of STFZ (Association of Goldsmithing Forms Makers). Co-founder and member of Group Six. Participant of many collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, among others: France, Germany; Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Sweden, Italy. Solo exhibitions: Piwnice na Krakowskiem Przedmieściu, Warsaw, 1999; Bielak Gallery, Kraków, 2004; Exhibition of jewellery and photography, Warsaw, 2004; Ring Gallery, Legnica, 2017. Winner of numerous prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix in Amberif Design Award 2017. His works have been presented at many collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. In his projects Marcin combines various materials: amber, metals and plastic. In his varied but very characteristic work one can find modern, geometric forms and abstract motifs referring to the natural world. The artist has developed his own method of polishing the polymer, giving it noble forms. Jewellery is one of the artist's many passions. He also deals with designing tattoos, renovation of old cars and motorcycles, designing ceramics, lamps and architecture.
