Dorota Gulbierz, born in Olecko (Masuria), lives and works in author studio in Sopot. By education she is a pedagogue-teacher of plastic arts. In her studio develops mostly jewellery, which is a combination of ceramic and silver, but among her works are also ceramic paintings and small sculpture forms. Her trademark is a technique of porcelain relief, which in combination with suggestive colors and the restless form makes interdisciplinarity of her work. She admits that her creation carries three passions: painting, sculpture and design.

Among the collection of the artist’s work can be found works related to the nature, but also inspiration from the painting (Klimt, Modigliani, Lautrec). The jewellery presented on exhibition comes from the Retro cycle and goes back to the aesthetics of the early twentieth century, when the woman was the muse of artists and has celebrated life. With its creation artist used the technique of majolica, gold and platinized relief.
