Since 2015, he has been training in the field of classical and contemporary jewellery at Jeanne Toussaint Jewellery School in Brussels (Belgium). The solo exhibition within the framework of Legnica SILVER Festival is the award of the Director of the Gallery of Art in Legnica granted in 2018 in the PRESENTATIONS Silver and Amber Contemporary Jewellery Competition organised in 2018 by the Association of Goldsmithing Artists. The exhibition presents works - necklaces, brooches, rings and earrings created between 2017 and 2020.

In her works, the author uses mainly silver, natural stones and minerals. The geometrical forms of the objects evoke associations with architecture, which remains one of the artist's chief sources of inspiration. In small items that function as jewelry, she contains the essence of reinforced concrete structures, interpreting the principles of geometry in a surprising way.

She is interested in the dialogue between stone and metal. Their mutual relationship builds a narrative of objects, and playing with the unconventional setting of the stone gives the jewellery a unique character. Despite her fascination with geometry and mathematics, Delphine Perrache's realizations are characterised by lightness and subtlety, provided by prehnites, mica, mountain crystals, aventurines, agates, labradorites, quartzes and ambers that play with light at various levels of transparency.

"Striving for formal simplicity, I use different surface properties and explore the rich possibilities of intersecting planes to create three-dimensional structures. These develop when I try to achieve an enclosed space, sometimes through emptiness, other times through holes and cracks" - the artist writes.

In her artistic activity Delphine Perrache confronts her experience of working for world-famous fashion houses with her inner, individual need to create. Craftsmanship and theoretical knowledge of design combined with her own world of sensations and inspirations make up the phenomenon of her work.
